Please Do
Share a life experience that pertains to your subject matter, beingtransparent and vulnerable in your own role as a woman will help other women relate to you and not feel alone.
Gather your thoughts on your ONE subject and keep it simple, it’s only 20 minutes, do not try to fit too much, simple is better.
Utilize an object or something catchy that the women will find easy to remember and take away with them physically or mentally.
You must incorporate scripture that relates to your subject matter in your talk—“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
Please Do Not…
The attending women come from all different backgrounds.
Do not assume all the women who attend are Christian as some may be invited as guest who are seeking to learn about the faith. Please take this into consideration as you prepare your materials and be sensitive to their needs.
“Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.” Romans 14:13
“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:6
