If you have an interest in participating in one of these ways, please submit the following form for consideration by our planning team:

    • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

    • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

    • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

    • We believe because of the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, we have direct access to a personal relationship with the living God.

    • We believe good works are a result of salvation, not a requirement for salvation. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Jesus Christ, our savior alone.

    • We believe in the one true church, the body of Christ, consists of all Christ followers and evidence of that unity by how we love God and one another.

    • We believe the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers and is given as a seal and pledge of inheritance in Jesus Christ.

    • As a speaker for Gather for Women, I am agreeing that I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.

    Please Do

    • Be vulnerable:

Share a life experience that pertains to your subject matter, being
transparent and vulnerable in your own role as a woman will help other women relate to you and not feel alone.

    • Be organized:

Gather your thoughts on your ONE subject and keep it simple, it’s only 20 minutes, do not try to fit too much, simple is better.

    • Use a visual:

Utilize an object or something catchy that the women will find easy to remember and take away with them physically or mentally.

    • Include scripture:

You must incorporate scripture that relates to your subject matter in your talk—“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

    Please Do Not…

    • Make any derogatory comments about different denominations or specific churches.

The attending women come from all different backgrounds.

    • Make any judgmental statements about any of these and/or other demographics from which the women might come.

Do not assume all the women who attend are Christian as some may be invited as guest who are seeking to learn about the faith. Please take this into consideration as you prepare your materials and be sensitive to their needs.

    • Talk about your political views or sensitive subject matters that may divide and hinder another woman with different views from attending Gather for Women.

“Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.” Romans 14:13

    • Use profanity or coarse language

“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:6
