Maybe today doesn’t feel like a big moment.
Nothing especially clear.
Nothing fully resolved.
Nothing tied up neatly.
Just a regular day.
A full one, maybe.
Or a quiet one.
It’s easy, on days like this, to feel like we’re waiting.
Waiting for clarity.
Waiting for direction.
Waiting to feel more certain before we move forward.
But what if this is actually where it happens?
Not in the big moments.
Not in the fully-formed answers.
But right here
in the middle of the ordinary.
Because becoming isn’t just about what’s changing inside of you.
It’s about how you begin to walk it out with Him.

Not ahead of Him.
Not trying to figure everything out first.
But with Him – Step by step.
And sometimes that looks less like knowing exactly where you’re going
and more like learning to stay close as you go.
To listen.
To notice.
To respond.
Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
But relationally.
You begin to sense His leading in small ways.
A nudge.
A pause.
A thought that feels steady and grounded.
Instead of rushing past it
or second-guessing it
you stay.
You take the next step from that place.
And then the next.
Not because you can see the whole path
but because you’re learning to trust the One who walks with you.
This is becoming.
Not figuring everything out
but walking with Jesus in the middle of your real, everyday life.
Scripture Reading
Let these words settle into your heart slowly.
John 10:27 NLT
Galatians 5:25 NLT
Pause and Reflect
Take a few moments to sit with what you noticed from Scripture. You may want to journal or reflect quietly. You might consider:
Where am I trying to figure things out instead of walking with Jesus?
What would it look like to take one step with Him today?
Do I believe He is actually with me in my ordinary moments?
Soul Care Practice – Walk With Jesus
This week, we practice walking with Him.
If you’re able, take a walk outside
or simply move through your day a little more slowly and intentionally.
As you begin, acknowledge His presence.
“Jesus, You are here with me.”
And then just walk.
You don’t need a plan.
You don’t need perfect words.
Just begin talking with Him
the way you would if you were walking beside someone you trust.
You can share what’s on your mind.
What feels unclear.
What you’re carrying.
And as you walk, notice.
A thought.
A sense of peace.
A gentle redirection.
If nothing feels obvious, that’s okay too.
This is not about getting answers.
It is about learning to walk with Him
in a real and present way.
Carry It With You
As you move through your week, remember:
You don’t have to see the whole path.
You only need the next step.
And you don’t take it alone.
You can walk with Him
right in the middle of your everyday life.
You might simply pray:
“Jesus, help me stay close to You as I walk.”
If you’d like, I’d love to hear what this looks like for you this week. You can share in the comments or join us in the Mindful Mondays Facebook Group.
Enjoy walking and talking with Jesus this week – I’ll meet you back here next Monday!
